KACBT, which was established in 2009.

The KACBT is a multidisciplinary, not-for-profit, professional association with a membership and a growing global alliances of like-minded organizations.

The preparatory Committee of KABA (Korea Association of Behavior Analysis) commenced with a meeting of some concerned persons in Taegu. Though hot now, the preparatory committee is going to launch the association in order to turn the theoretical fruit so far into practical fruit. The association is aiming to be an international organization by managing the license of Korean clinical behavior therapist in connection with the international license issued by Association for Behavior Analysis Internaional under the conventional Korean Association of Child and Adolescent Behavior Therapy.

Of course we understand there are many associations in the field of behavior analysis, but we still feel limits in actually guiding our children and juveniles. There are many behavior therapists today and as many behavior therapy strategies are practiced from child care centers to schools, clinics, and hospitals. However, we lack the opportunity for those or professional engaged in the filed to share practical information, to present the outcome of the behavior therapeutic strategies, and to realize and discuss the limit of behavior therapy study.

Therefore, we want the joining of professors, researchers, and teachers in the field who would seek exit from our limit and share the effort for the progress of our practical study. We welcome you who would join us as a commencing member of the association and seek improvements of behavior therapy field.
